Welcome to the 2023 Queensland Poetry Festival ‘Story/Verse’.

Join us for the announcement of three of our flagship awards – The Thomas Shapcott Prize, The Val Vallis Award and the Oodgeroo Noonuccal Prize. The evening will include readings from last year’s winning poets.

Featuring readings from Cheryl Leavy, Jarad Bruinstroop and Dan Hogan.
