QPF 2022 Emerge
The 2022 Queensland Poetry festival was held online and in Meanjin/Brisbane in from March 21 to June 5.
The theme for 2022’s festival - ‘Emerge’ - spoke not only to the sense of ‘coming through’ the significant challenges of the last few years, but also to the way poetry emerges into the world, and to poets taking those first (tentative, courageous) steps into the poetry community.

During the 2020 pandemic, Queensland Poetry facilitated twice-weekly readings from Australian poets (and a few international stars) via YouTube to help bring us through quarantine. We kept the recordings of course, and you can watch them above.
