In-school slam (that you won't get suspended for).
SlammED! is a dynamic slam poetry schools engagement project, working closely with schools in Queensland's south-east and regional areas to bring high-profile spoken-word poets to work with students of all ages and to give young people a voice on the stage.
Each year we deliver workshops and slam heats in schools across Brisbane, culminating in an inter-school slam poetry final.
We now also have a new program, Fledgling, which delivers introductory slam poetry workshops to junior high school students.
