Welcome to the Busty’s Lounge, a space to embody creative decompression, lyrical waxing and joyous rage – all while decolonising on the dance floor. Part speakeasy, part underground night club, Busty's Lounge brings together very special guests for a mash up of spoken word, dance, comedy, cabaret, drag, music and burlesque across late nights at the Queensland Poetry Festival, allowing the magic to happen and hijinx to ensue.

From connections with the past to the next generation, Poetic Justice centres First Nations voices in a celebration dedicated to the power of the Blak Word.
