Samuel Wagan Watson is a Wunjaburra man from Mununjali country west of Mt Tamborine and has ancestral ties from northern Germany. His latest collection of poetry ‘Love Poems + Death Threats’ won the 2016 Scanlon Award.
Samuel lives on the Southside of Brisbane and is published by UQP. He is currently working on a book of prose and poetry for Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum focusing on Time and Memory.
