Sally Murphy

Sally Murphy is a multi-published children’s poet, with three well received verse novels to her name, and a total of 47 publications. Her poems are published regularly in the various School Magazine formats (BlastOff, Count Down etc) as well as in anthologies including Dirt by Sea (edited by Dianne Bates) and One Minute to bedtime (edited by Kenn Nesbitt) She is about to submit a PhD on the subject Belonging in children’s poetry. She is based in Western Australia. Currently finishing a PhD, focussing on children’s poetry – including both the writing of it and where it belongs in the children’s literature landscape.
