Michelle Cahill

Michelle Cahill writes poetry and fiction. She was a Fellow at Hawthornden Castle and at Kingston University. Her awards include the Hilary Mantel International Short Story Prize, the ABR Elizabeth Jolley Prize Shortlist and the Arts Queensland Val Vallis Poetry Award. Her short fiction, Letter to Pessoa (Giramondo), won the UTS Glenda Adams Award for New Writing. Vishvarupa was short-listed in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. Her essays on poetics, race and #interceptionality have appeared in Sydney Review of Books and The Weekend Australian.
